Herdade
A herdade da Corte Velada resulta da junção das propriedades Corte Barriga e Corte Velada. Abrange uma área de cerca de 271 ha e localiza-se no limite norte do concelho de Lagos, na freguesia de Bensafrim.A propriedade caracteriza-se por uma paisagem tipicamente rural, com declives suaves e aspeto árido devido à tipologia de solos e ao forte impacto que atividades no passado causaram a este território.
A paisagem da Corte Velada apresenta características particulares que lhe conferem beleza e atratividade para o desenvolvimento da atividade turística. A natureza, associada à recuperação da flora e fauna da floresta nativa e aos projetos de investigação e desenvolvimento fazem da Herdade de Corte Velada um Lugar especial.
Mountains
With its scenery of fresh water and shadows set by a lush vegetation, Serra de Monchique contrasts to the drier and hotter climate of the Algarve region in the summer season.
The highest natural viewpoint of Algarve is Foia at an altitude of 902 meter.

Natural Park of Sudoeste Alentejano and Costa Vicentina
Located along the southwest coast of Portugal from S. Torpes in Alentejo to Vila do Bispo in Algarve, the Natural Park covers the counties of Sines, Odemira, Aljezur and Vila do Bispo. Across more than 74.000 hectares, it harbours rich and diverse landscapes, high cliffs, beaches, bounds, woods, fields, lagoons and water lines, including the Rio Mira estuary.
More places of interest to visit are the Pessegueiro Island in Porto Covo, the Sagres promontory and S. Vicent Cape.
Rota Vicentina
Inside the Natural Park of Sudoeste Alentejano and Costa Vicentina, the Rota Vicentina route (300 km) consists of a group of pedestrian pathways and trails running through preserved natural and cultural landscape, where you can experience the local rural culture values and traditions.
The Historical Way, runs 230 km through the main towns and villages, through cork tree forests, mountain ranges, valleys, rivers and creeks. It is freely accessible to hikers and mountain bikers.
The Fisherman's Trail is a 120 km spectacular cliff track, continuously following the coastline. The trails are mostly used by locals to get to the beaches and top fishing spots.This is the right trail if you want to experience strong and wild nature, the sea and the wind, in a coastline that is one of the most preserved in Europe.
